Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about learning Quran and Arabic with Faith & Fluency
Q.How long does it take to learn Quran recitation?
Most students can read the Quran fluently within 6-12 months with consistent practice (3-4 lessons per week). However, the timeline varies based on your current level, dedication, and practice frequency. Beginners typically start seeing progress within the first month.
Q.Do you teach children?
Yes! I teach students of all ages, from young children (ages 5+) to adults. My teaching approach is tailored to each student's age, learning style, and pace. Children's classes are engaging and interactive with age-appropriate methods.
Q.What are the class times and schedule?
I offer flexible scheduling to accommodate students in different time zones. Classes are typically 30-60 minutes long and can be scheduled 2-5 times per week based on your availability and goals. We'll work together to find times that suit your schedule.
Q.What programs do you offer?
I offer three main programs: 1) Quran Recitation & Tajweed - Learn proper pronunciation and recitation rules, 2) Arabic Language Foundations - Master reading, writing, and conversation in Modern Standard Arabic, and 3) Quran Memorization (Hifz) - Structured program for memorizing the Quran with proper revision techniques.
Q.What qualifications do you have?
I am a certified teacher from Al-Azhar University in Egypt with extensive experience teaching Quran and Arabic to students worldwide. I specialize in Tajweed rules, Arabic grammar, and effective memorization techniques. I have helped hundreds of students achieve their Quran and Arabic learning goals.
Q.Do I need any prior knowledge to start?
No prior knowledge is required! I accept complete beginners and teach from the very basics. Whether you cannot read Arabic letters yet or you are looking to perfect your recitation, I'll start from your current level and build from there.
Q.What technology do I need for online classes?
You'll need a device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) with a stable internet connection, a camera, and a microphone. We use video conferencing platforms like Zoom or Google Meet. A Quran (physical or digital) and a notebook for practice are also recommended.
Q.How do I track my progress?
I provide regular feedback and progress reports. We'll set clear goals together and track your improvement in recitation, memorization, or language skills. You'll receive practice materials and homework to reinforce what you learn in class.
Q.Can I take a trial class before committing?
Yes! I offer a free evaluation session where we can assess your current level, discuss your goals, and see if my teaching style is a good fit for you. This helps both of us ensure we are a great match before starting regular classes.
Q.What if I need to reschedule or cancel a class?
I understand that life happens! Please provide at least 24 hours notice for rescheduling. We can work together to find alternative times that work for both of us. Consistent attendance helps with faster progress, but I am flexible with genuine scheduling conflicts.
